It is a relatively unknown place, located midway between Sangla and Chitkul – the last Indian village before the Tibet Border. The beauty of this small village with a population of 800 is heavenly.7 hour’s journey.

Day 04 Rakcham to Tabo (as proposed by Mr. Riyaz covering maximum we can).  Today we leave the lush green Kinnaur valley to enter into the tough rugged terrains of Spiti passing through the Nako Lake on to Tabo where we camp at an amazing campsite near Tabo. The advantage of setting up our own tents with a dedicated team gives us the freedom of being flexible and enjoying the natural beauty of all areas. O/n Campsite.6 hour’s waking distance.

Day 05 Tabo to Dhankar and walk to the lake and drive back to Campsite near Tabo. Tabo is called the “Ajanta of the Himalayas” due to its magnificent murals and amazingly detailed Thanks. After Tabo we drive up to Dhankar, ancient capital of Spiti. Sketched along stone-mud pillars and cliffs, its hard to describe Dhankar as words are inadequate for this village, balanced precariously amidst geological relics Nature Walk to Dhankar Lake: Today we start with a steep accent to one of most picturesque spots in Spiti. Dhankar Lake has its own story to tell cradled in the lap of stark mountains reflecting heaven and earth in its crystal clear waters. 5 hour’s walking distance.

Day 06 Tabo – Pin Valley – Kungri Monastery o/n Homestay / camp. 6 hour’s walking distance.

Day 07 Pin valley to Langza Village in the Kibber Wild Life Sanctuary o/n Camp – Homestay. Visit surrounding villages of Kaumic and Hikkim.

Day 08 Langza- Key Kibber and at Geyte (The highest moterable village connected by road) and stay at campsite!

Day 09 Campsite to Kaza to Chandertal camp:
Chandertall-The Lake of the Moon. This lake is 6 kms from the Kunzam Pass that connects Spiti and Lahaul.

Day 10 Chandertaal Rest Day - Surrounded by snows and acres of scree, this deep blue-water lake has a circumference of 2.5 kms. This is the source of the River Chandra. According to some believers, this is the spot from where the god Indra's chariot took the eldest Pandava brother, Yudhishtra to Swarga, heaven in his mortal form. O/n in tents at Chandertall.

Day 11 Chandertall to Manali via Rohtang pass and evening Volvo to Delhi. Today we start our day early from the lake of the moon to drive across the famous Rohtang Pass to reach the lush green environment of Manali – the first town with habitation after the great desert ride of Spiti. Here we rest in the hotel and go for a hot spring bath to get some natural therapy.

Day 12 Rest Day at Manali. Enjoy the serene environment and evening departs for Delhi by Volvo.
