The Kanchenjunga National Park Trek (Dzongri) is a spectacular high-altitude Himalayan adventure through the pristine wilderness of West Sikkim. The 10-day journey begins at historic Yuksom and winds through dense oak, magnolia and rhododendron forests, alpine meadows and dramatic glacial valleys.
The trek’s major highlights include the breathtaking Dzongri Top, where sunrise reveals panoramic views of Kanchenjunga, Pandim and Kabru, followed by the challenging ascent to Goecha La at 4,940 m / 16,207 ft. From this spectacular viewpoint, trekkers experience magnificent close-up views of the Kanchenjunga massif and surrounding Himalayan peaks.
Covering approximately 95 km, this moderate to difficult trek combines challenging high-altitude trails with extraordinary mountain scenery, remote wilderness and traditional Himalayan landscapes.
