The Kinner Kailash Parikrama is a spectacular high-altitude pilgrimage and trekking adventure through the rugged landscapes of Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh. Over 8 days, the journey passes through remote villages, dramatic valleys, alpine landscapes and challenging mountain terrain, offering an immersive experience of Kinnaur’s natural beauty and spiritual heritage.

Starting from the scenic landscapes around Sarahan, the route travels deep into Kinnaur through Reckong Peo, Thangi, Charang and Lalanti, gradually gaining altitude towards the remote high mountain passes. The adventure reaches its most demanding stage with the crossing of Charang La at approximately 5,242 m / 17,198 ft, followed by a spectacular descent towards Chitkul, one of the most beautiful villages of the Baspa Valley.

Covering approximately 95 km, this moderate to difficult trek combines long trekking days, steep ascents, high-altitude terrain and dramatic Himalayan scenery. The route offers a rare blend of adventure, spirituality, traditional Kinnauri culture and wilderness, making it a rewarding journey for experienced trekkers seeking an offbeat Himalayan experience.

Delhi to Shimla (7–8 hrs drive)
Day 02 :
Drive from Shimla to Sarahan (6–7 hrs drive)
Day 03 :
Sarahan → Reckong Peo → Thangi → Lamber Camp (drive + 3–4 hrs trek)
Day 04 :
Trek from Lamber Camp to Charang Village (10–12 km, 5–6 hrs)
Day 05 :
Trek from Charang to Lalanti Camp (11–13 km, 5–6 hrs)
Day 06 :
Trek from Lalanti to Charang La Base Camp (8–10 km, 4–5 hrs)
Day 07 :
Cross Charang La Pass & trek to Chitkul (16–18 km, 8–10 hrs)
Day 08 :
Drive from Chitkul to Shimla (10–11 hrs drive)
